• June 12-18, 2026: Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew in French, La Megere apprivoisee, with English subtitles. The French -speaking acting troupe in Vienna, LAB'ORATOIRE | Troupe de théâtre à Vienne will be performing Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew in French (La Megere apprivoisee), with English subtitles. Fellow ACS member Anna will be performing as the Tailor and the Widow

• June 18; 2026: Concert with artist Sophie Lukacs at FaniaLive. Francophone association, Le Cercle, is organising  a concert featuring Montreal-based artist Sophie Lukacs at the FaniaLive
  Time: Doors open at 19:30 and concert starts at 20:00
  Location: Home — FaniaLive
  Sophie Lukacs is the recipient of the 2024 Canadian Folk Music Award for Global Roots Album of the Year for her album Bamako. She is also one of the few women internationally recognized as a kora player, performing on the traditional African instrument. The evening will feature a rich blend of African Manding music, folk, European influences and Francophone songs.

• June 19, 2026: Garden Festivities
  The Austrian-Danish Society cordially invites ACS members to join their garden festivities. There will be a selection of Austrian food to enjoy, and two drinks are included in the ticket price.
  Time: 3:00 PM
  Location: Blumengärten Hirschstetten, Quadenstraße 15, 1220 Vienna. (Please look for the gastronomy area inside the “Bauernhof”)

• June 21, 2026: An evening of Schubert's timeless music with a number of outstanding artists- including Canadian talent at the Lieder-Gala in Vienna
  Location: Ehrbar Saal, Mühlgasse 30, 1040 Vienna 
  Inspired by the mission “Zur Pflege des deutschen Liedes” (“to cultivate the German art song”), the Franz Schubert Institute brings together outstanding artists for a special Lieder-Gala at the Ehrbar Saal.
  This evening dedicated to Franz Schubert will feature an exceptional lineup—including several renowned Canadian artists:

• June 26, 2026: Fête nationale du Québec – Celebrating Québec’s National Day
  
  The Québec Government Office in Munich is pleased to invite four ACS guests to an official reception celebrating Québec’s National Day.

• August 2026 – Stand-Up Paddling
  To wind down the summer Chantal will once again organize the stand-up paddling at Gänsehäufel. More information to follow soon.
