• February 9, 2026: Toronto Symphony Orchestra @ Wiener Konzerthaus: The Toronto Symphony Orchestra concludes its European Tour featuring works by Canadian composer Kelly-Marie Murphy, Bartók, and Mahler, with Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Anna Prohaska under Gustavo Gimeno. Members are invited to join our Treasurer, Ferdinand, for a complimentary glass of sparkling wine during the intermission. For more information, please see the newsletter.
   

• February 21, 2026: Ice skating @ Wiener Eislauf-Verein,  Lothringerstraße 22, 1030 Wien @ 15.00-17:00. Come and join us for an afternoon of fun on the ice. Svetlana will be leading this event. Skates can be rented at the location. One warm beverage will be offered to our members, courtesy of the Austrian-Canadian Society. Please register by emailing Svetlana @ svetmaneva@hotmail.com.

• Remember: Saturdays @ 9:00 Parkrun Donaupark, 1220: A free, weekly, timed 5km event, every Saturday morning at 09:00 at parks all over the world, communities gather to improve their physical and mental health by walking, jogging or running 5 kilometres or by volunteering to make these events possible. Simply register here for free and you will receive a unique barcode. This barcode is your ‘passport’ to all parkruns across the globe.
